TIPS FROM Shambeau & Lyons
- Price your property correctly. We are here to help with that!
- First impressions are critical. Clean up your yard, clear and sweep the driveway and sidewalks. Plant flowers! Enhance that curb appeal!
- Organize. Organize. Organize. Even organize the soup cabinet. People look there, too!
- If at all possible, don't be home when an agent will be showing your property. If you must be home, please stay out of the REALTOR'S way and do not apologize for anything or offer information unless it's requested. We're the experts, and we are working for YOU!
- Sweep your garage and sweep the basement. Vacuuming cobwebs doesn't hurt, either!
- Weather permitting, open the windows! Fresh air is a good, good thing.
- LIGHTS ON! Turn every single light on in your house. We'll turn them off!
- If it's convenient, take your pets with you. Fido and Fluffy are cute, however, often distract people from looking at and falling in love with your house! If your pets have a mean side, definitely take them with you.
- One vanilla candle. Just one!
